For Survivors, By Survivors – A group for Survivors of Youth Congregate Care facilities including Residential Programs, Behavior Modification Programs, Religious Programs, Rehabs, Boot Camps, Wilderness Therapy and other “Treatments” sometimes referred to as the “Troubled Teen Industry”. A place to advocate, support and heal TOGETHER.
Survivorland – We are an eclectic group of Anti-Troubled Teen Industry voices, dedicated to providing the safest place on the internet for all survivors of institutional abuse. We would like to invite you to use this space to share war stories, and connect with long lost friends. To support one another, and to validate each other. To laugh, to cry, and to reminisce together. To share news, old or new, about your programs, or about yourselves. To talk about those things that folks outside of this strange little community just might not quite understand. We offer this space for you to talk about your projects, seek advice from fellow survivors, and to teach one another the skills that it takes to go about living life after the TTI.
Warriors of Hope – A support group for troubled teen industry survivors who are struggling with the basic necessities. Too many survivors are lost now. Drug overdoses and suicides have to stop. The hope of this group will be a ray of light in the dark for so many survivors.
